We look to work with independent artists and designers that are just like our teas, unique and high quality, for our artwork and tea ware.
If you are an independent artist and are interested in working with us on a collaboration, please fill out this contact form here. We’d love to hear from you.
Below are a list of the indie artists we’ve loved working with:
Mark Foster of Happy Cat Pottery –
Mark is an engineer by trade and artist by practice with his new endeavor into ceramics. He focuses on functional wares with an Asian aesthetic under the moniker Happy Cat Pottery.
Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mark has thrown everything from traditional bowls, mugs, and plates, to fermenters and Japanese kyusu style teapots. His foray into wheel thrown handmade ceramics has been abrupt and dramatic. His current work focuses on gong-fu style and Japanese styled teaware. You can follow his journey as Happy Cat Pottery on Facebook and Instagram, and as always check out his Etsy store for the most recent fully one of a kind pieces.
Dan Collins of DCollins Pottery –
Dan is a class act. Half man, half fish, Dan spends a lot of time in/on the open ocean. His love for the water is commemorated by the wave signature that adorns all his ceramic art.
Located in Carlsbad, California, Dan uses some of the most unique finishing techniques and glazes that we have ever seen. His use of stains and multiple glaze applications create stunning colors, enriching each individual piece’s surface texture and shape- truly setting his ceramics apart. You know when it’s a piece of Dan Collins art. They’re a pleasure to hold and behold.
