This Butter Oolong, from the #12 Jin Xuan cultivar has a buttery, smooth mouth feel and fresh garden vegetal flavor. This is akin to the Milk Oolong without the flavor added as it is the same cultivar and processing produce that tea as well.

Brewing Suggestion: We like this tea best in a teapot when we used 1-2 teaspoons (5-7 grams) of tea first brewed for 1-2 minutes. The tea leaves are compact but grow very large as they unfurl, make sure to leave room for this in your vessel, bag, or gaiwan. For gaiwan brewing, we recommend no more than 60-90 seconds for your first brew.
