The result of a collaboration with Burquean ceramicist Mark Hollis Foster of Happy Cat Pottery for what are know as “Easy Gaiwans”. That means they are built for maximum ease of use and minimum burning or dropping but still maintaining their gong-fu-ness.
Our version is also a tea-for-one set which comes with a small cup as the lid and a small built in strainer. Perfect for brewing at your desk, on a picnic, or just hanging out with a book.
Ranging from 42 – 66 milliliters (1.4-2.2 oz) these small gaiwans are an excellent piece of equipment for flash steeping puerhs and dark teas for maximum number of infusions.
Here’s your chance to grab one of these one-of-a-kind pieces (each one will be a little different) for your collection, desk or work space, or morning/afternoon tea routine.
