The White Blossom new style white tea is a refreshingly sweet cup of tea. It is a premium pluck of a silver bud plus one leaf and processed in the same style as many specialty bai mudan teas from China. It is sun dried, fired, and rested for a month for flavor development prior to packaging and consumption.
Grown: Ama Dablam, Nepal
Organic: No – Conventional
Dry Aroma: Honey, Hay, Earthy, Spicy
Tasting Notes: Sweet Corn, Grass, Citrus, Smooth Mouth Feel
Brewing Suggestion: We like this tea best in a teapot when we used 1 tablespoon (2-3 grams) of tea first brewed at 190-200 for 1-2 minutes. The tea leaves on this are large and fluffy, and also very light, so it may take a try or two to get your favorite method of brewing down for this tea. For gaiwan brewing, we recommend no more than 45-60 seconds for your first brew.
Experiment and let us know how you liked it best!
